Agent Redfox would like to form a Secret Savers spy ring! Would you like to join? Who would you be spying on? How about George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Alexander Hamilton … all the people whose faces appears on our paper money.
After you spend your money at the store, do you ever wonder where it goes? It doesn’t disappear, it goes back into circulation. Other people use it. Now you can keep track of where it goes. How? A fun website called Where’s George! It allows you to track your money after you save it at the credit union or spend it in a store.
First, go to Where's George! and have an adult help you register. You can then register any bill ($1, $5, $10, $20, $50 or $100) by entering the bill’s serial number (the green number that starts and ends with a letter) and the series (the year it was minted, listed on the bill). Once registered, if someone else has that bill(s) later on and registers it at the site, you’ll know where it is. The site will tell you how long it took someone to find your bill, how far it traveled, and it might even tell you how/where the person found your bill!
Agent Redfox has followed a number of bills, sometimes to great distances. Some of the locations his bills have traveled to are listed here:

Some bills get more than one hit. That means Agent Redfox entered a bill, someone found that bill and entered it, then someone else found the bill again and entered it.
Here’s an example:
Agent Redfox entered a dollar bill on October 30, 2007. Someone in Belleville, Illinois, came upon the bill on June 20, 2008, and entered it on the Where’s George! website. Then, on February 17, 2009, another person came upon the bill again, this time in Wells, Maine! There are some cases when a bill is entered more than twice! Here are some bills that have been found more than once:
