PHISHING ALERT––January 25
We’ve received notice that there has been a phishing attempt on Vantage members as they pull up the MyVantage login page to log into their account. When members pulled up the login page, a separate pop-up appeared with the heading, “Attention Vcu Visitor,” and information about a supposed data security breach on a third-party marketing services vendor, Epsilon. The message goes on to request member credit card information to validate member identity. THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO GATHER YOUR SECURE INFORMATION TO COMMIT FRAUD USING YOUR CREDIT CARD. PLEASE DON’T PROVIDE IT! However, if you did respond and provided information, please call 314.298.0055 or 800.522.6009 right away.
SAVINGS BONDS NOTICE: Starting January 1, you will only be able to purchase savings bonds electronically through TreasuryDirect. This means that paper savings bonds will no longer be sold by mail order or over-the-counter at any financial institution.
